About the event
This workshop introduces foundational herbal allies for common ailments and injuries, utilizing the plants growing around us for accessible and sustainable care.
We’ll explore a handful of herbs commonly found in urban neighborhoods, their medicinal properties, and how to use them in everyday first aid applications. We will end class by making a botanical first aid item for attendees to take home!
This workshop will be facilitated by ecological educator and botanical maker Gina Southern, founder of Vessel Kitchen Gardens, and is the first of a three-part series on cultivating resilience through botany.
